Hot Spots Get Hotter
Very soon, you may be able to walk into your local Starbucks or McDonald's with your laptop and wirelessly log on to the Internet. By 2006, more than 4,000 Starbucks coffee shops in the U.S. should be offering Wi-Fi wireless access points, and a similar number of McDonald's fast-food restaurants will likely be doing the same in Japan.
