Aid Groups Criticize Israel Over Rescue Effort in Jenin
A United Nations team was able to distribute food to between 20 and 30 percent of the camp's population today, officials said, but rubble and possible booby traps prevented aid trucks from penetrating deeper into the camp.

Israeli officials say that army rescue teams and heavy equipment are at work in the camp. But United Nations workers reported that they saw no Israeli Army heavy equipment at work in the camp today.

During a two-hour tour of the camp on Monday afternoon, including an area that is the nexis of the destruction, no Israeli soldiers were seen.
