Many Think Service Won't Decline Further
WorldCom has been notorious for shortcomings like long delays in correcting billing mistakes, and industry consultants say they cannot imagine how the additional layoffs and belt-tightening expected in bankruptcy would improve matters.

Still, few experts expect WorldCom's service to deteriorate noticeably, at least in the near term.
